Emilie Autumn
Name: Irina Lynn Jones
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Orientation: Bicurious
Year/Profession: Junior
Sport: Track
Hair: While naturally a light brown, Rin often dyes it a bright pink. It's her statement to the world. Her father won't let her get a tattoo or any good piercings quite yet, so she has to resort to hair and make-up. Of course, heaven forbid her father see her with the bright pink hair at home. Her hairstyles vary depending upon what she's doing but can range from "normal" to "eccentric."
Eyes: Her eyes are a gray-blue color that reflect the colors she's wearing or the make-up surrounding them.
Height: 5'7"
Body: Weighing in at 145 pounds, Rin is a bit underweight and her doctors urge her to gain some weight. However, she is not anorexically skinny. That's not her thing. Her legs are fairly toned from two years on the track team.
Tattoos/Piercings/Scars: While Rin has no tattoos, she likes to do her own little designs to make up for the lack of a tattoo. More often than not, it is a small heart below her right eye, which is usually pink but sometimes black. Piercings would be her thing, if her father would let her have them; the lack of even a piericing on her earlobe is her way of protesting as her parents want her to get a piercing there. Scarwise, Rin has no noticeably huge scars. She has little marks here or there along her arms and scrapes on her knees, but they're all from past accidents.

Habit(s): One look at Rin's nails gives you an idea of what her habit is unless they're freshly painted their trademark black. Yes, Rin bites her nails still at sixteen.
Pet Peeve(s): The one thing that really sets of Rin no matter who you are is if you're a conformist. If you're by the book without any uniqueness or evident thought put into what you're doing, you're going to rub Rin the wrong way, and she's going to go off on you at one point in time or another.
Fears: Rin is deathly afraid of spiders. If she sees one, she freezes up. She doesn't scream; she doesn't yell for someone to help her. She just freezes where she is and waits in silent panic for it to go past her, hoping it doesn't drop or jump onto her. It's just the way it's always been for her. She also has an irrational fear of pictures from way back when. She avoids them like the plague for the way they make her feel inside.
Personality:
Some would call Irina rude. She prefers honest. She's strongly opinionated and not afraid to speak her mind no matter who she's talking to. Such behavior would get her in trouble on base, perhaps, but she's not on base, now, is she? It doesn't matter who you are--teacher, student, friend--you're prey. She likes to think for her own, so she doesn't do anything without asking, "Why?" Challenging authority is an amusing game for her to play. Some of them can't hardly hold their ground, and making them look like buffoons is more than hilarious. It gives her a slight rush of power and superiority, and she's not afraid to rub it in or hold it over the person afterward.
Rin is playful and outgoing around those who share her world view, reserved and snarky around those who aren't, often saying things to jab at them, causing laughs for her friends at the other's expense. She doesn't give a damn what others think of her, so speaking her mind and not holding back anything she wants to say are common. She's not afraid of upsetting people. She's not afraid of making someone cry. Call it mean; she calls it honesty. If you can't handle the truth, then you need to find somewhere else to live and/or someone else to hang around because she's going to be brutally honest.
History:
Growing up, it was always Irina and her dad. Her mother died during childbirth, so it was just how it was. They often moved around with her father on active duty and at the mercy of the Army. Wherever his country needed him to be, they packed up and went. She didn't mind it when she was young, but as she started attending schools on base and forming friendships with others her age, she started to mind. Sure, going to all these neat places was fun and all, exciting even, but it was hard always leaving friends behind, and by the end of second grade and three moves later, she had decided it was easier just to not get close. However, such resolutions rarely even last, and so the cycle continued.
Towards seventh grade, things started to escalate, and it became clear to Tom Jones that his daughter needed some stability. The Army's schools provided the structure his daughter needed; however, moving around all the time took away the security. At least, that was what he logicked, and he began to research while she was in eighth grade. Pembroke seemed the perfect answer. He would fly his daughter there at the beginning of each semester, and she would spend her summers and winter break with him. Of course, it still might not be the most normal childhood, but it'd perhaps help things somewhat, right?
The first summer after sending Rin to Pembroke, things went swimmingly. Sure, his daughter had a boyfriend, but he lived on base, was a good kid, and he knew his parents. Second summer? Not so great. He was stationed in Germany, and his daughter found an older boyfriend off base, but there was no stopping her. He tried grounding her, but she just found ways off base. So, he decided to give in but he set a curfew. It worked...sometimes. Boy was he glad when this summer came to a close. Maybe this year she'll find someone at the dance. Heck, he'd encourage her to invite him over to meet him, if it means keeping her away from Oliver.
